Born in South Korea, Jinhee Park is an artist currently based in London. She completed a Diploma in Art and Design at Central Saint Martins in 2019, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, in 2025, and will be starting the Painting MA at the Royal College of Art in September 2025, and was a finalist for the 2025 Cass Art Painting Award.
Park’s practice is rooted in personal narratives and self-reflection. She views art as a way to preserve memory, beginning with the individual and requiring time for introspection. Her paintings are built through layers of gestures, revisions, and experiments, each colour, texture, and mark carrying traces of time and the deliberate process of recording her inner world. Focusing on everyday objects, fleeting moments, and overlooked details, Park uncovers the subtle beauty and gratitude embedded in daily life. Through her work, she invites viewers to pause, observe, and reflect, sharing in a quiet sense of wonder and curiosity.
